The Return of Share the Love

As a company, Subaru does much more than just make and sell vehicles. Subaru is dedicated to helping communities and the environment. While many companies are solely focused on profit and product development, Subaru focuses significantly on bettering the lives of others.

One way that Subaru has done this in the past, and continues to this day, is through the Share the Love event. This event, which is entering its eleventh year, is the company’s chance to give back. Subaru’s Share the Love event this year runs from November 15, 2018 to January 2, 2019.

During the event, at nearly 630 participating retailers across the country, Subaru will donate $250 to its charitable partners for every new vehicle that the company sells or leases. This year, the charities that Subaru is supporting include the ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America® and National Park Foundation. The company is also supporting nearly 700 smaller, local charities. The buyer can choose which of the charities the donation will go towards.

According to the company’s media release, Alan Bethke, the senior vice president of marketing, Subaru of America Inc., hopes that Subaru will raise $140 million in this year’s Share the Love Event. This money will go a long way to helping communities across the nation through Subaru’s partner charities. With strong sales for the company, the year’s event may big the biggest yet.
