Subaru Debuts Limited-Edition 2020 WRX and WRX STI Series



On November 20, 2019 at the LA Auto Show, Subaru displayed the latest edition of the WRX and WRX STI series. The WRX and WRX STI Series.White will be a limited production run of 500 WRX and 500 WRX STIs that are set to arrive at Subaru retailers early next year. The Series.White edition will be available exclusively in Ceramic White exterior paint paired with matte bronze wheels.


The WRX Series.White will be the highest-performance WRX ever sold in the U.S. market. The WRX Series.White will generate 268-horsepower and will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Subaru customers will find the WRX Series.White to include the Performance Package with Ultrasuede-trimmed Recaro seats and Brembo braking system with red calipers. As an added feature, Subaru customers will enjoy standard high-performance Bilstein sport-tuned suspension. Other standard features include Keyless Access and Push-Button Start, and LED Steering Responsive Headlights. The WRX Series.White is marketed at $33,995.


The WRX STI Series.White will be equipped with the 310-horsepower 2.5 liter turbocharged BOXER engine. The WRX STI Series.White will still offer the Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring while adding new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires designed to offer higher levels of grip and performance paired with the Bilstein STI sport-tuned suspension.


The STI Series.White is also decked out with heavy-duty steering rack mounts for added rigidity between the steering rack and vehicle body. The WRX STI Series.White is also paired with Recaro seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel with red stitching. For those looking to drive the WRX STI Series.White, the marketed price is $42,695.
