Subaru’s Launch Control to Debut On Amazon Prime For Seventh Season

Subaru’s award-winning motorsports documentary series Launch Control will be returning for a seventh season. But this time, it’s coming to Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service!

This past week, Subaru of America announced a new partnership with Amazon that will allow the manufacturer to stream their popular series on Prime Video. The seventh season will kick-off with an initial four-episode release starting on August 28. Following that, the series will stream on both Prime Video and YouTube biweekly.

Since its debut in 2013, Launch Control takes Subaru racing fans behind-the-scenes for a closer look at the inner workings, fierce action, and spectacular visuals of America’s top rally team. Championship winners like Travis Pastrana and David Higgins are frequently featured.

To get fans warmed up for the Season 7 premiere, Season 6 is already available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Last season’s episodes showcase huge moments like they debut of Americas Rallycross (ARX) championship, Higgins’ 2018 Rally Rally Association title chase, and the first-ever Nitro Rallycross event.

This past offseason saw the Subaru race team add former champion and NASCAR driver Scott Speed and young rally phenom Oliver Solberg to the lineup. The upcoming season will cover the team’s recent move to a state-of-the-art race facility as well as the upcoming ARA and ARX racing seasons.

“Racing is in our blood,” said William Stokes, Motorsports Manager for Subaru of America. “Nowhere is that passion easier to see than in Launch Control. We’re proud to bring the series to Amazon Prime Video to give fans the chance to experience the thrill of rally and rallycross anywhere and on any device – including in their living rooms.”

Launch Control is a joint production between Formula Photographic and Bowes Media with the support of Subaru of America.
