Subaru Loves Pets Initiative Continues at Chicago and Philadelphia Auto Shows

As Subaru of America continues with its Subaru Loves Pets initiative, they recently announced they will be hosting pet adoptions at both the Chicago Auto Show and the Philadelphia Auto Show.

The 2020 Chicago Auto Show will take place from February 8-17th, and attendees can interact with shelter pets in need of loving homes at the Subaru exhibit inside the McCormick Place Convention Center. Subaru has partnered with the Anderson Animal Shelter, Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue, and Fetching Tails Foundation for the duration of the event. Each shelter and rescue will have adoptable pets present throughout the Chicago Auto Show.

“We are proud of our commitment to protect and improve the lives of animals everywhere, and at Subaru, that means helping our canine friends find love and companionship,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President, Marketing of Subaru of America, Inc. “With help from our partner shelters in the Greater Chicago area, we hope this pet adoption event brings joy to all auto show attendees and ultimately unites local shelter animals with loving homes.”

The Philadelphia Auto Show will be taking place from February 7-17th. For this local event, Subaru has partnered with 1 Love 4 Animals, Morris Animal Refuge, TLC Rescue PA, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, and Providence Animal Center. Each rescue will have pets available for adoption present at the show at alternating dates and times throughout the event. Subaru encourages attendees and potential adopters to come visit the pets at the Subaru exhibit inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

“At Subaru of America, we consider the Philadelphia Auto Show our hometown event, so we’re especially excited to help animals in our community find loving homes with our friends and neighbors in the Philadelphia area,” said Bethke. “Our partnership with these local shelters in our very own backyard reinforces our commitment to protecting and improving the lives of pets everywhere.”

All adopters are subject to standard guidelines and procedures as outlined by each rescue. Those interested in adopting are encouraged to bring a photo ID with them to complete the application process.
