The Upcoming 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Will Offer More Powerful Engine, Sport Trim Level

 

Earlier this month, Subaru officially announced its plans to bring the popular Subaru Crosstrek to the next level with an all-new trim level and a more powerful engine option.

 

For 2021, the new Sport trim level, which slots between the basic and Premium packages, will come standard with a 182-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine. The top-level Limited trim will also receive this engine upgrade, which is also capable of 176 lb-ft of torque.

Subaru of Indiana Automotive Receives Brand New Technical Training Center



Subaru of Indiana Automotive along with Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and workforce development partners celebrated the grand opening of Subaru’s new Technical Training Center on Friday December 13, 2019. The $4.2 million investment includes a 20,000-square-foot facility on the company’s campus. It’s not only twice as large as the previous technical training center, but will also generate its own solar energy.

On November 20, 2019 at the LA Auto Show, Subaru displayed the latest edition of the WRX and WRX STI series. The WRX and WRX STI Series.White will be a limited production run of 500 WRX and 500 WRX STIs that are set to arrive at Subaru retailers early next year. In 2018, Subaru of America found overwhelming success with their Subaru Loves Pets auto show adoption events. Beginning this year and extending into 2020, Subaru looks to expand their good work to over 40 National Auto Shows all throughout the country.

Subaru Sells Its 10-Millionth Vehicle in the United States


Earlier this week, Subaru of America proudly announced the sale of its 10-millionth vehicle in the United States., a brand new 2019 Subaru Impreza. Following the sale, a surprise celebration followed.


“It took us 41 years to achieve our first five million sales, and just over 10 years to achieve the next five million,” said Thomas J. Subaru Announces Best Sales Month in Company History


According to Subaru of America Inc., August 2019 marks the best-ever sales month in company history. Subaru of America reported record-breaking August sales of 70,039 vehicles, shattering December 2018’s former record of 64,541 individual sales. 


These numbers are part of a continuing upward trend of 93 consecutive months of sales increases. Year-to-date, Subaru has recorded 473,670 vehicle sales (also a record), a 6.1 percent increase compared to last year’s numbers during the same period.

Subaru’s Launch Control to Debut On Amazon Prime For Seventh Season


Subaru’s award-winning motorsports documentary series Launch Control will be returning for a seventh season. But this time, it’s coming to Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service! 


This past week, Subaru of America announced a new partnership with Amazon that will allow the manufacturer to stream their popular series on Prime Video. The seventh season will kick-off with an initial four-episode release starting on August 28. Following that, the series will stream on both Prime Video and YouTube biweekly.
