The Japanese automobile manufacturer is now working hard to push forward the all new BRZ 2017 upgrade.
The 2017 model will have more power, even better handling and a brand new track mode that will help you fulfill your dream of drifting like Han and Sean in the Fast and Furious franchise.
BRZ is a coupe that is designed to deliver on performance without wreaking havoc on your bank account. The upgraded version of the coupe will be more driver focused than ever before, and lack features like adaptive cruise control, dual clutch gear box, and hybrid assistance. Subaru is known for keeping things simple. If you look at it from a sport car point of view, BRZ 2017 is going to offer you one of the purest forms of a sports car you can get your hands on.
BRZ was launched back in the year 2012 and since then has seen some minor updates only. 2017 is going to be the first major update the car is going to get and it has got fans excited for all the right reasons.
Exterior design
As far as the looks of the car are concerned, you will not notice any major differences, however the devil lies in the details. There are some visual, mostly aesthetic changes on the front end where you will notice that the car gets a newly designed bumper, new LED headlights and fog lamps, the winglets are now body colored which is a good thing and that’s about it.
Moving towards the interior of the car, there are even less changes from a visual standpoint. You will notice some subtle changes like the steering wheel has been redesigned and now comes with a leather cover which makes it feel rich. Subaru has decided to go for Alcantara seats that have a former grip which means that when you are taking turns and cutting corners at higher speeds, you will not slip and remain in your position. This will definitely improve driving experience.
Interior design and the whole new dashboard
If you are a fan of car racing cult video games like Gran Tourismo, then you will be both pleasantly surprised and happy to notice that Subaru has taken some cues from the game. A single look at the newly redesigned dashboard will tell you all you need to know about the game like stats and gadgets that Subaru has implemented.
You will find real lap time stop watches on the dashboard that will allow you to time your laps. You will also see G meters which is for sideways shenanigans and braking force meter that will tell you how hard you are hitting the brakes.
There are some nifty gadgets that you will notice in the BRZ and Subaru has put a lot of thought in the process. In order to raise the adrenaline level further a few notches, Subaru tech team has also fitted the dashboard with a steering angle indicator that will show you at what angle your steering wheel is. These are some of the subtle changes that Subaru has made but will go a long way in ensuring a superior driving experience.
