Under Tom Doll, the President of Subaru America, Subaru has managed to set sales records in the US for 8 years in a row, with the end of this streak nowhere in sight.

New Year, New Records

Doll recently confirmed that Subaru would be ringing in their ninth year of record sales and tenth year of increase in sales, even in a market that is far more competitive than it used to be. The brand's current lineup is centered around AWD crossovers like the Forester and Outback, and the upcoming figures reflect that interest in these types of vehicles is still going strong.

Staying Prepared

All businesses are cyclical. Despite the past decade of success, Subaru is refusing to rest on their laurels, continuing to invest profits into new technologies.

The new Ascent is a great example of this strategy in practice. It's a striking choice for people who may be looking for a little more mobility as compared to the Outback. It's a fantastic choice for families as well. This year's brand new Impreza is another innovation. Subaru invested a significant amount of resources in marketing and advertising for the launch of this model, and it shows.

Also both the Legacy and Outback have been upgraded with new looks . Whether it's the wheels and tires or the front fascia, these changes are the direct result of Subaru's commitment to staying on top, offering something a little different to keep consumers interested and entertained.

Doll is hopeful that Subaru's efforts will continue to see positive results. However the auto industry evolves in 2018, the brand is sure to adapt to meet the challenges that arise head on.
