In keeping with its storied history of racing, the Subaru Rally Team USA (SRTUSA) will return to the American Rally Association 2018 series. Subaru and its teams have experienced copious amounts of success in the series. SRTUSA has been able to secure numerous championship titles through its skilled drivers.
These skilled drivers are making their return in 2018. David Higgins and his co-driver Craig Drew, both multi-champions, will lead the team’s charge in 2018. Accompanying them is 2017’s champion Travis Pastrana and his co-driver Robbie Durant. These formidable duos will prove a significant challenge to whoever they face.
In order for these teams to succeed, they need to be outfitted with the best. When it comes to rally, Subaru stands supreme. The WRX STI is both team’s vehicle of choice for the series. Subaru’s iconic all-wheel-drive system featured in the WRX help it to better navigate the cunning courses that the ARA presents.
Subaru motorsports manager Rob Weir looks forward to the coming season, saying, “Rally continues to offer both an exciting and challenging way to showcase Subaru production car technologies.” Subaru vehicles, particularly the WRX, are designed specifically with the adventurous in mind. In an arena that challenges its drivers to navigate steep inclines, sharp turns, and dirt roads, Subaru comes out on top.
