Consistently held in high regard thanks to its standard all-wheel-drive, excellent visibility, top safety ratings, and excellent cargo-carrying ability, the 2021 Subaru Forester is now the third fastest-selling compact SUV in America.

According to a recent study by iSeeCars, the average number of days it takes a new vehicle to sell is 46.2, but the Subaru brand has the lowest vehicle inventories of any other automaker, meaning the all-new Forester is a vehicle in extremely high demand. As a result, the popular ride takes an average of just 23.6 days to move off dealer lots.

Last year, the Forester finished a difficult 2020 as a top volume model, selling 176,996 units. This year, the Forester compact SUV leads the Outback crossover/wagon by 1,423 units. As new models continue to arrive from Japan, Forester inventory is increasing steadily.

Another recent study revealed that the Subaru Forester is among the top ten SUVs that are kept longest by owners (slotting in at number four), though it is not a newcomer to this list. In fact, it's consistently been ranked as such for the last five consecutive years.
