

The results of the 2022 Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards have been announced, and Subaru of America, Inc. has received some major recognition. Subaru was named Most Trusted Brand for the eighth consecutive year and Best Performance Brand for the sixth year.
The Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Awards are intended to recognize automakers whose vehicles create enthusiasm among their customers. Brand image isn’t just about consumers being aware that a brand exists. An automaker with a strong brand image can excite and attract new car shoppers, and capture their attention and enthusiasm. The Awards use the opinions from more than 12,000 in-market, new-vehicle shoppers to gauge the popularity and response to each brand, including luxury, non-luxury and truck shoppers. The annual Brand Watch study from Kelley Blue Book helps them to follow these consumer trends and attitudes on available new vehicles. All of this information combines to help determine each year’s award winners.
Subaru has dominated the Most Trusted Brand category of the awards since 2015, and with the brand’s well-established commitment to safety as a major brand value, it’s easy to see why customers know they can rely on Subaru and keep coming back for more. These aren’t the only awards that the brand has taken home from Kelley Blue Book. In different years, Subaru has also taken the win for Best Overall Brand on four different occasions, cementing its reputation as a quality, reliable automaker.
