

Subaru recently unveiled the automaker’s new 2024 Impreza at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This new generation of Impreza models gets an all-new design, boosted performance, improved safety features, and the latest multimedia technology. The new Impreza also gets 2024 the RS trim featuring a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER engine, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and unique exterior and interior elements.
For the new model year, Subaru has optimized the Impreza lineup to emphasize the vehicle’s sporty power, versatile features, and all-around performance. The Impreza is now available in Base, Sport and new RS trim levels. This compact car will be exclusively available as a 5-door hatchback when it comes to Subaru retailers this spring.
The 2024 Impreza benefits from a sporty new style and arrives standard with the company’s new EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Additionally, the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system is an optional feature for the Impreza for the first time. The system also offers on-screen controls for audio, climate, and vehicle features. The vehicle additionally gets wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity.
In terms of raw power, the Impreza’s Base and Sport trims feature a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine that churns out 152-hp and 145 lb.-ft. of torque. The RS edition upgrades to a 2.5-liter BOXER engine that offers 182 hp and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard across the lineup is a Lineartronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The Sport and RS trims include an 8-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters that help you control the transmission with eight pre-set ratios.
Inside, the Impreza will show off an improved focus on comfort for occupants and their interaction with the vehicle. For instance, a more supportive front seat design increases overall comfort and reduces fatigue. Subaru also gave specific attention to reducing sounds within particular frequency ranges, which helps the cabin stay quieter and more comfortable. The vehicle also offers ample head and leg room and storage space.
The premium trim builds on the Sport offer standard features like Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Signature features that are exclusive on the RS version include the Harman Kardon 10-speaker system, a Power Moonroof, and a 10-way power front driver seat with lumbar support.
