Adventure-lovers and Subaru enthusiasts look forward to it every year, and it’s finally almost here again– it’s the Subaru Winterfest! Celebrating music fans, pet parents, and winter athletes of all stripes, it’s a time for snowy-filled fun in the great outdoors. Renewing its partnership with adventure lifestyle company POWDR, Subaru has just announced the resorts that will play host to this year’s Winterfest, and the musicians you can expect to see there.
“Our search for fun and adventure doesn’t hibernate during the winter,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President, Marketing at Subaru of America, Inc. “Working with POWDR on WinterFest celebrates our collective passion for the outdoors, benefits worthy charitable causes, and brings together the Subaru community against the backdrop of some of the country’s most picturesque mountain locations.”
WinterFest events will feature free musical performances sponsored by Harman Kardon. There, visitors will be able to enjoy live music from artists like Cold War Kids, The Ballroom Thieves, Yonder Mountain String Band, Kind Hearted Strangers, BoomBox, Simba Sax and more.
Subaru is defined by its longstanding commitment to be “More Than a Car Company.” In the spirit of that mission, the automaker will be making a donation for every Subaru information form received at this year’s WinterFest! Some of the charities receiving donations will include organizations supporting avalanche rescue dogs, increased access to the outdoors, and more. Subaru and POWDR have also established a brand-new joint community investment fund working to uphold the values of the Subaru Love Promise and POWDR’s Play Forever commitment, supporting important community and environmental initiatives.
The resorts hosting Winterfest this year include Killington Resort in Vermont from February 2nd to 4th, Copper Mountain in Colorado from February 23rd to 25th, Eldora Mountain Resort in Colorado from March 2nd to 3rd, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort in California from March 23rd to 24th, Snowbird in Utah from April 5th to 7th, and Mr. Bachelor in Oregon from April 12th to 14th.
Thinking about attending this year’s Winterfest at one or more of these locations? You can expect the opportunity to test out gear from renowned brands such as Nordica, Cardiff Snowcraft, Mammut, Thule, Dynamic Wax, and Luno while learning from experts at Leave No Trace. Hydro Flask will host a ‘Wilderness Café’ with coffee from Alpine Start, craft hot cocoa, and Kate’s Real Food organic energy bars. Snow-themed lawn games will keep you occupied and the Solo Stove hangout zones at every stop will be warm, smokeless, and full of delicious s’mores. Some lucky Subaru owners will even be able to receive exclusive ‘on-mountain’ experiences, intimate music sessions, VIP parking privileges, and so much more!
