The 2023 Philadelphia Flower Show will be taking place from March 4 to March 12, and Subaru of America recently announced that they will be continuing in their role as the exclusive sponsor for the Flower Show. This has been a undertaking for Subaru for quite some time, with 2023 marking the 22nd consecutive year that the automaker has sponsored the event. As a longtime partner of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), sponsoring the Flower Show is a fitting and regular undertaking for Subaru.
“Each year, we look forward to the Philadelphia Flower Show as a moment where people from around the country and from all backgrounds can come together to experience the joy that flowers bring to our planet and our lives,” said Thomas J. Doll, President and CEO, Subaru of America, Inc. “We encourage all visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the exhibits and take the time to learn new ways to cultivate healthy plant life in their own communities.”
The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is the largest and longest-running horticultural event in the country. It will be taking place in the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia this year, and the theme of the event will be “The Garden Electric”, intending to capture the joy of giving or receiving flowers.
During the event, Subaru will be hosting exhibits dedicated to the five pillars of the Subaru Love Promise: Earth, Care, Help, Learning, and Pets. As the exclusive sponsors, Subaru will also have the opportunity to put vehicles on display for visitors to see, including the all-new Subaru Solterra EV and the Subaru Forester Wilderness, which will be located in the main exhibit and the hallway exhibit respectively.
Subaru will also be hosting guest speakers on the subject of sustainable gardening, including Joe Lamp’l, Emmy award-winning host of PBS’s Growing a Greener World, and experts from The National Wildlife Federation and Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Interactive gardening workshops will also be a feature of the event, hosted by the Official Botanical Artist of the GRAMMY Awards, Tu Bloom. In these workshops, visitors to the Flower Show will create personal potted displays and receive a chance to win prizes of gardening tools as well.
With Subaru helping to support this event and using the Philadelphia Flower Show as an opportunity to give back to the community and the environment, it’s sure to be a great time. If you’re interested in keeping up on all of the latest Subaru news, continue to check out our blog at Haldeman Subaru!
