In 2018 Subaru released the special edition BRZ tS, tS meaning “tuned by STI.” While it wasn’t exactly an STI — we would have gone gaga for that — it was a powerful little coupe. The limited edition BRZ featured extensive performance upgrades and precision tuning that was all based on the decades of STI motorsports experience. It was the best-handling BRZ ever released. The only problem: Subaru only released 500 vehicles in the U.S.
Subaru Of America Reports Best-Ever June Sales and Record First Half Results
On July 2 Subaru of America reported 61,511 vehicle sales for June 2019, a 2.8 percent increase compared with June 2018, and the best June sales in the history of Subaru. Subaru also sold a record 339,525 vehicles in the first half of 2019. That’s a 5.2 percent increase compared with the same period last year.

Subaru of America, Inc. has announced that it will be partnering with a local animal shelter at the 2019 Atlanta International Auto Show. As a part of the partnership, pet adoptions will be available during the event. Royal Animal Refuge promotes responsible pet ownership and focuses on finding homes for pets that have been surrendered or are homeless.

Subaru always strives to make the safest, most reliable vehicles possible for the road. In February, Subaru received recognition for all of its efforts. Kelley Blue Book gives out several major awards every year, and last month, it recognized Subaru in two major categories. Subaru Announces Viziv Adrenaline Concept
Subaru has officially announced that the Subaru Viziv Adrenaline concept will make its world debut at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show in Geneva Switzerland.
This new concept appears to have only two doors and a high-ride giving it generous ground clearance, and with suspiciously small mirrors on the side we might be looking at cameras with a display inside.
The Adrenaline concept certainly looks innovative, and one would hope for that considering Viziv is derived from the phrase “Vision for Innovation.”

Subaru Hosts Event to Help Pets in Need During 2019 Chicago Auto Show
On February 8 Subaru of America announced it will be hosting a pet adoption event during the 2019 Chicago Auto Show through partnerships with two local animal shelters — ALIVE Rescue and Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue. Both 501(c)3 non-profit organizations are dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of Chicago’s homeless and at-risk animals. This is a first-of-its-kind event to be held at the Subaru exhibit inside the McCormick Place convention center, and is aimed at finding forever home for some of the pets in the Chicago metro area.
