Subaru of America and the Philadelphia Union recently revealed that the automaker and Major League Soccer team “adopted” all classrooms at Stetser Elementary School in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Subaru recently unveiled that the 2022 Outback earned the best-possible rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for their side-impact test. As part of the IIHS’s role in improving overall vehicle safety, they introduced the new, more challenging side-impact test to address the higher-speed crashes that continue to cause fatalities around the United States.

For Subaru Motorsports USA, it was no surprise that driver Brandon Semenuk and co-driver Keaton Williams secured their second win in a row for the 2022 season at Olympus Rally in April. The two drivers were so skilled, they earned a total of six stage wins including the five-point bonus for the Power Stage and extending their dominance in the American Rally Association (ARA) competition. Fellow Subaru teammates Travis Pastrana and Rhianon Gelsomino also finished well, earning second place in the title race with six rounds left in the nine-event calendar.

Subaru of America, Inc. and its extensive network of retailers were recently proud to announce that, through the 2021 Subaru Share the Love Event, the auto company and its stores donated a combined $24.9 million to charities. $18.8 million was donated specifically by Subaru of America, and an impressive $6.1 million was given by Subaru retailers. Including all 14 years of the Subaru Share the Love Event, the program has donated more than $227 million to national and local charities that improve the lives of the Subaru community throughout the United States.

Just a few weeks ago, Subaru of America, Inc. was officially named a 2022 Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI). 2022 is the sixth year in a row and ninth year overall that Subaru has earned a perfect 100 percent on the CEI, the United State’s primary survey measuring corporate policy impact on LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

Subaru of America, in alliance with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), last week announced the new winners of the AAAS/Subaru SB&F Prize for Excellence in Science Books. This award honors exceptional science writing and illustration in children's and young adult books that inspire and motivate our youth around the country.

At the recent 2021 Nitro Rallycross driver’s championship, Subaru Motorsports USA earned a 1-2 finish and won the Nitro RX teams championship in Florida. Travis Pastrana and Scott Speed finished the year with an exciting tie at the top of the charts with 219 points each, one point clear of former world champion Timmy Hansen with 218. Pastrana was awarded the rank of overall champion with the tiebreaker and two event wins compared to Speed’s one.

The Subaru Motorsports USA driver, Travis Pastrana, recently earned the 2021 American Rally Association (ARA) overall driver’s championship at the Oregon Trail Rally, along with co-driver Rhianon Gelsomino earning the co-driver’s championship award.
