The all‑new 2025 Subaru Forester has earned the highest possible rating, IIHS Top Safety Pick+, from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The recognition reflects Subaru’s commitment to safety, with the Forester leading the small SUV segment in lifetime IIHS awards. As of December 2024, Subaru Forester has received the Top Safety Pick award 18 times since 2007, more than any other small SUV, and Subaru, as a brand, has earned more Top Safety Pick+ awards than any other since 2013.

At the 2025 New York International Auto Show, Subaru revealed the completely redesigned 2026 Outback, marking the debut of its seventh generation. Coinciding with the model’s 30th anniversary, the new Outback showcases a modern, adventurous spirit, blending the rugged functionality the nameplate is known for with striking new design, upgraded technology, and advanced safety features. The vehicle will be available nationwide in late 2025 across six trims: Premium, Limited, Touring, Limited XT, Touring XT, and Wilderness.
