Forester is Only Vehicle to Earn Top IIHS Rating in New Test

Improving vehicle safety is an ongoing task, one that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) keeps up with by constantly improving and innovating their tests. A new vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention test was recently introduced by the IIHS to address crashes that occur at higher speeds and those in which the struck vehicle is a motorcycle or large truck. 10 small SUVs have undergone this new test, and the 2024 Subaru Forester was the only one tested to earn the highest possible rating of “Good”.
