Subaru Adopts Camden City Middle School Classrooms

At the end of last month, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) revealed that, to keep supporting the students of the Camden City School District, the automaker will “adopt” all middle school (grades six through eight) classrooms in the district, providing essential learning materials to students. The adoption effort is a substantial part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, a partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org to help every student get an equal opportunity to succeed in the classroom.

August is Subaru Loves Learning Month

Subaru of America has always been dedicated to finding ways to give back, and one of the areas where so much work is needed in our world today is equal and fair opportunities for quality education. Not all children and school districts have access to the resources they need for good education, and so Subaru has been working to address these inequalities since 2016 with its Subaru Loves Learning initiative.

Launch Control Returning for Tenth Season

Launch Control has been the main source of coverage for the U.S. rally championships since its debut in 2013, and this year the award-winning series will be taking on an all-new format, delivering material to its audience faster and more frequently as well as covering topics in much greater depth.

Subaru of America Named a Top 50 Community-Minded Company

 

 

Subaru of America (SOA) recently released its latest annual Corporate Impact Report, detailing the automaker's commitment to operating as More Than a Car Company® for the 2021 calendar year. SOA was also proud to announce that the company was named a 2022 Civic 50 Honoree for the second consecutive year by Points of Light, the largest organization dedicated to volunteer service in the world.

2022 Ascent Earns Top IIHS Rating

The IIHS, or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, is constantly updating their tests and rating systems in order to uphold an ongoing standard for vehicle safety that is always improving. One of their newer tests is designed to measure how safe a vehicle is in high-speed side-impact crashes, which cause many fatalities. The IIHS recently put 18 current model midsize SUVs through this high level side-impact crash test, including the 2022 Subaru Ascent. The Ascent’s performance in this test received the highest possible rating.

Subaru Motorsports USA Earns 1-2 Finish at Olympus Rally

 

 

 

For Subaru Motorsports USA, it was no surprise that driver Brandon Semenuk and co-driver Keaton Williams secured their second win in a row for the 2022 season at Olympus Rally in April. The two drivers were so skilled, they earned a total of six stage wins including the five-point bonus for the Power Stage and extending their dominance in the American Rally Association (ARA) competition. Fellow Subaru teammates Travis Pastrana and Rhianon Gelsomino also finished well, earning second place in the title race with six rounds left in the nine-event calendar.
